Just received the Nokia 6700 classic but no support for the settings on Vodafone or Nokia help.
Can anyone supply the setting? Manual in put or otherwise.

As Vodafone don't stock the Nokia 6700 classic directly, I've not got the exact settings for MMS or Internet for your phone.

The settings for most Nokias' do tend to be the same though so it might be an idea to try the settings for a Nokia 6730 to see if these will work by manually entering the details.

Been there and done that with the call centre, menu system is so different that the pdf file is a waste of time

well I feel let down, I was told I could get answers here.
So no WAP or MMS settings for the fone available?

Don't be so downhearted - there's still something you can try

Press the Menu key on your phone.
Scroll to and select Tools. (Note: The location of the Settings Wizard varies according to device) Scroll to and select Sett. wizard to launch the Nokia Settings Wizard.
Scroll to and select Vodafone.
Follow the wizard's on-screen steps to automatically configure the phone with the required service settings.

This should then allow you to set up the phone.

If this still doesn't work, we can still try a few things.

I can see that Helen gave you a link to some manual settings, but you've found the menu to be different.

Can you let us know whats different and maybe we can figure out what goes where.

Best thing I can say is the menu system is the same as my previous fone the 6500 slide.
cant find the set wizard on the fone.
I am now really thinking of taking fone back and cancelling and going to a different network, I just cant believe the problems as a customer I have had with a new fone that just doesnt do the task its meant to.

As the device isn't sold by Vodafone it's a bit like going to a Ford dealer and asking them to diagnose a fault on your Ferrari.

If you select "Messaging", then "Options" and does "Settings" appear in the list of available options? If so go into MMS and use the guide Helen mentioned previously.

Hi, it's a pity voda don't supply the nokia 6700, as currently it is the best mid range phone on the market, i have also bought 2 of them, superb phones. With regards settings, both mine downloaded them after receiving a text from voda, failing that, go to the Nokia site, where you can also have them sent to your handset, amazed the management did not know that, or more probably they are not allowed to say....

Thanks to who ever assisted the shop sorting out my fone, the setting sent were good but a block was still in place.
