I am looking for some advice on the Nokia C6. I subscribed to an 18 month contract in September 2010. A few weeks ago I started to experience problems receiving text messages and then the phone started sending texts to a random number of its own accord.
To cut a long story short, the phone was sent to Vodafone for repair. They contacted me to tell me I had damaged the sim card holder/reader and it was my fault and would cost £100 to repair. I knew it wasn't my fault as the sim card had not been removed from the phone since September.
I have contacted Vodafone customer services who have said they cannot confirm how the phone has developed this fault, whether or not it was my fault, and are refusing to repair the phone, which is being returned to me today.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Call 01252 866000, asking for "MMS Support".
Explain the situation in full. and explain the original fault and what the Vodafone repair centre claimed caused it.
Nokia will pick up via UPS and have it fixed in 7 days or you get a replacement. If in another colour tell them and the'll send matching back cover.
hope this helps.
Current devices Sharp gx15, Nokia 6700s,E71, 6300, Two Samsung galaxy s2's and a Huawei Ascend g300

Thanks for the suggestion. Nokia won't repair the phone as they say it is Vodafones' responsibility. I received the phone back yesterday with more damage to it than when it was sent. Vodafone are refusing to repair the phone, so I have decided to use and old phone to see out my contract.
