on my 4th Nokia N8 - this one is faulty

hello all

please can i get some advice? i am still well within my contract however i have had to have my Nokia N8 replaced 3 times due to various faults, and surprise surprise the 4th one (delivered yesterday) is faulty - wont hold a charge. i spoke to VCS and they said i have to take it to the voda shop at the trafford centre to confirm that it is faulty, and they will then supply a new make and model of phone. problem is, i am a registered carer of my spouse and cannot simply nip out at anytime, and i need a reliable working handset.

can anyone suggest an alternative?

I know it's fustrating as a carer myself, best thing to do here is to show them in store. They can pull your account up in the store so you can plan a visit out with notice for your carer and less worries for you.

Failing that the eforum team may be here soon to advise what may be done for you.
If worst comes to worst if you have an asda nearby the vodafone 340 handset is 12quid, if you need an emergency handset.

Hi titl3ist

Let me firstly welcome you to the Vodafone eForum family. It's always a pleasure to see new faces here. :smileyhappy:

I'm sorry to hear of your issues with the Nokia N8. It's certainly not the norm to have so many issues with one handset.

I may be able to assist with you not having to go to store, but I'd firstly need to access your specific account details. As I can not discuss your account over the forum, I have sent you an email, to your eForum registered address, to facilitate this. If you can kindly complete and return this, I will be able to assist further in this matter.

Regards
