please could some one help me, my mum just gave me her nokia 6234 but i want to put my o2 sim in so i can store numbers and other items, when i insert it it asks for RESTRICTION CODE??? 

my IMEI No is (removed for security).............

PLEASE could any one help me???

Hi WendyEdwards,

In order to get the Network Unlock Code for the phone your mum will need to request this.. I have provided a link below for this to be done..

However the link is only for Pay Monthly, so if she has been using it on PAYG she will need to contact Customer Care either on 191 from her phone or 08700776655 from another line..

She will need the make and model, and IMEI of the phone to request the NUC

Hi Wendy,

Did your mum use the phone with a PAYG or contract sim?

If it is PAYG she can give Customer Care a call  with the relevant information and they will be able to put a request in for the NUC..

You would not be able to do it with your mobile number if you are not a Vodafone customer
