The blinking red light appears on left hand of box and then the orange mobile symbol comes on. It won't work for me and I'm wondering why any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi.

Sure Signal issues ?

Please look at the two links in this thread >

https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodafone-Sure-Signal/Sure-signal-still-won-t-connect-after-2-weeks/t...

It may also be worth trying a different power supply with the SureSignal (Version 1 & 2 ), as there have been some reports of replacement power supplies solving the issues. Even if lights / power are showing. They are available on eBay for around £10.

From member cineriv "But firstly, have a look around for a suitable unit with a 12 Volt output @ around 1.5Amp capacity that you could 'borrow' to prove the fault. Suitable units can be found on external hard drives, monitors, printers, routers etc.etc."

If it is made by Alcatel, the device you're using is a SureSignal.  A quick search on the forum will back this up as there are quite a few threads specifically about that model.  If this isn't the case, you need to provide a bit more info, such as manufacturer, etc
