Help!!

I have a vodafone phone and i drained the battery now it will charge enough so it gets enough to turn on then die again.

Which model of Vodafone phone are you using ?

Resets such as 'Hard Resets' can be explored if we know the exact model of phone. 

Edit : If the Battery is removable then remove it and check the contacts on it and the ones in the phone. Use a pencil eraser to clean them and if possible try another battery to rule yours out as the possible issue. 

Does it indicate that its charging ?

Look in the charging port for any dust / lint. 

Try leaving it on charge for longer. 

Try another charging cord.

Vodafone apply a 24 month warranty on their phones so if this continues then visit your most local shop and they'll possibly take a look but may have to send it away to their Repair Centres.

What does my warranty cover?
Your warranty covers any faults or problems you may have with the hardware or software in your device. But it doesn’t cover accidental or liquid damage.

If it's out of the 24 Month Warranty then you could still let them send it away and they'll come back to you with a repair cost if repairable. 

Vodafone offer loan phones if your on a Monthly Contract. They are typically feature phones so very basic. Generally a Returnable Deposit is required and it depends if they have one in stock.  

An alternative is to claim on any Household Contents Insurance or some Bank Accounts give cover. T&C & Excess Fee's will apply.

If you have a problem with your phone, the best thing to do is to take the phone into a Vodafone store, let them check it out and if necesssary, arrange for a repair.

Insurance wont help with broken phone, insurance is only for accidental damage, theft and loss.

Allowing a lithium-based battery to go completely flat will shorten its life, but not to that extent and not so quickly (assuming this is the first time).  It may also stop it from working altogether but it doesn't sound as though that's happened either.

It is, though, likely to take a long time to start charging, so try giving it a soak (24 hour) charge before trying to use the phone again.
