Hello!
Was wondering if anyone had the same issue/problem.
On the dialer a long press of '1' should dial the voicemail number
On mu phone it simply says
"Voicemail number unavailable"
"To set up voicemail, go to Menu -> Settings"
It then takes you helpfully to the correct place to set it
If I go to Voicemail -> Services -> It states 'My Operator'. Shouldn't this say Vodafone uk?
Also if I go to Voicemail Settings 'Settings for my operator' -> Voicemail number is <Not Set>
It then gives you the option to enter a voicemail number.. No number known to humankind works!!!
It simply returns
'Call Settings Error'
Couldn't Change the voicemail number
Contact your operator if the problem presists....
Dialing 121 connects to voicemail fine so there is that but every phone I've had previously has had the voicemail number in there..
Anyone know what might be causing it?
I've read somewhere that rooted handsets allow the changing of the voicemail numbes as they are held in an xml file somewhere.
This would suggest that the voicemail numbers are part of the phone firmware??
Any help gratefully appreciated

@vrbarreto - Are you able to edit the voicemail number in the settings to 121? Let us know if this works.

Hi CHarles,
Afraid not.. I can add 121 to '2' without any problems.

suggests that the voicemail numbers are held in an xml file that is part of the build..
I can't obviously access this file without unlocking the bootloader and rooting the phone which I am a bit loathe to do.
Does anyone else have the p8lite and have access to the shortcut key for voicemail?
