i buy vodafone 845 3 months ago,and the touch screen doesn't respond anymore.

my phone locked with screen lock,and can not be unlock if the touchscreen not responding like this.

anyone knows how to fix it? i try to call to vodafone technical team,and they suggest me to write in this forum to get answer

Hiya, if you have tried resetting the phone, pulling the batter out, and perhaps done a reset (instructions on Vodafone web site), then at that stage I would take it for a repair

how to reset it if i can't do anything to the phone since it was screen locked and the screen not responding when i tap?

Make sure phone is off - Take battery out, put back in.

You can enter Recovery Mode by;

Press Volume Up + Start Call (Green) + Power On, all together, let go when startup screen appears.

The phone should enter Recovery Mode. 

Select: Wipe Data/Factory Reset.

This will put your phone back to factory settings. (As New)

If this does not work then it is a hardware fault and needs to go for repair!

i have done like you wrote to do factory reset,but the touch screen still not responding,i read on other forum about calibrating the touch screen,is that will help?if does,how to do that?thanks before.

Touchscreen calibration is just to make sure that when you press an area on the screen, it selects the right thing. If your screen is not responsive it definitely needs to be sent for repair, calibration will not help.

U can try a different OFFICIAL ROM,which will not validate your warranty.

first download the zip file and extract it and u wil find all instructions for the upgrade from outside the system (u don't even have to use the screen).

Try the nearest country to indonesia first,then tey South Africa Vodacom (Huawei made this ROM to be a stock universal ROM) and if it doesn't work,then try Vodafone UK and New Zealand Vodafone.
