Hi, trying Vodafone for the first time, so far not too impressed.

Got a Smart 858 as an intro to Android.

Noticed on spec page on vodafone.co.uk that it will sync with Mac, see attached .pdf.

No software can be found.

Is this a lie?

Serious mis-leading statement if false.

Found Windows software under Apps & downloads but my Mac doesn't run Windows!

"Why not search Google" one techies told me.... Why not do what you offer I say.

Any Help appreciated otherwise it's 'hello' to another provider.

Have you installed Samsung Kies for Mac?

The mobile is a Huawei U6880 or something.... Not Samsung.

Why would I use a Samsung app/program on a Huawei?

I can't find any software for the Mac compatible with your Phone.

Mike — I have not tried it myself, but it looks as if SyncMate might do the trick? The free version looks as if it will sync contacts with Address Book, although it's not showing Calendar as one of the recipients of calendaring information, only Entourage and Outlook, which is a little odd. Might be worth a look, though.

(The device is the Huawei U8160, if that helps?)
