Hi all,
cant make my LG V900 tablet work on PAYG £15/1GB (unlimited time for usage) work. Though wasnt sold by Vodafone, can someone please check the generic settings? Card is almost fully loaded and functional, and does the register with the network. Device works fine with other SIM cards.
APN: pp.vodafone.co.uk
Proxy: not set
port: not set
username: web
password: web
server: not set
MMSC: http://mms.vodafone....
MMS proxy: 212.183.137.012
MMS port: 8799
MCC: 234
MNC: 15
Auth. type: none
APN type: *
Tried numerous alternatives (wap, pp.internet, etc.) with no success.
And register to Vodafone UMTS or Vodafone GSM or better automatic?
Many thanks!

Hi lana96
Thank you for your post and a very warm welcome to the eForum.![]()
Although this is not a device we are familiar with you can check your APN settings and select the right one for your agreement.
If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to post back.

Hi lana96
Thanks for your reply. In which case it may to do with the profile of your account if you've tried the various APN's and none of them work.
So that we can access your account I've sent a private message with details of how to contact us. You can find your PM inbox here. If you can't access this link, please ensure that the box next to "Turn on private messages" is ticked on this page, and let us know if you need any further assistance.
Thanks
Simon

Unfortunately I still have no internet connection... Another mail is on its way.
The system status of the tablet shows connected/connecting to "pp.vedafone.co.uk" by network type "HSPA". I can receive/send text messages.
Any ideas?
Many thanks

yes many thanks for your ideas!
Finally I could work it out:
pp.internet (NOT pp.vodafone.co.uk)
web (user)
web (pw)
are the right APN settings....
I really wonder, "pp.internet" isnt mentioned on the help pages directly, seems so simple. I can get UMTS, HSPA and EDGE now.
Are there any disadvantages with the above settings now?
Is there any way to change the APN for my SIM card - remote or local?
Thanks a lot!

Hi there Iana96,
Many thanks for your post. I'm afraid there's no way for us to remotely access your device settings to amend APNs.
I have found the below page with all the APN settings for our ranged devices on various types of account such as Pay Monthly or Pay as You Go.
Cheers,
Lee
