Mobile Broadband - Is IPv6 supported?

mwoolwardx
Not applicable
As I'm anxiously awaiting my new Iphone 4 and micro SIM from Vodafone, I'm wondering if I'm going to be using IPv6 (enabled by default under iOS4) as my transport to sites like Google and Youtube? Is IPv6 supported? If not, what are the plans? How can one get onto any early customer trials?

I remember many years ago (early 2000s?) that Vodafone was one of the early developers of the IPv6 protocol. What happened to that effort?

Thanks,
Marc

Can you advise if IPv6 is supported please?

Thanks

Hi @kblackmore

Take a look on our Mobile broadband software page for more info on this.

Thanks,

Amanda

Ok, that'll be no it's not supported then, no references to IPv6 in the FAQ or read me unless you intended for me to read every document on the site?

Thanks

Hi @kblackmore

At the moment we don’t currently support IPv6.

You can keep an eye on the link Amanda provided you with, for further information.

Thanks,

Sarah
