Moto G and Vodafone

I want to buy myself a resonable quality basic smartphone to replace my ageing Nokia E5 which I use on a monthly sim only contract.

I was looking at the Moto G, but there seems to be lots of problems posted about issues with them connecting to Vodafone signal (or not) going into airplane mode etc after they upgraded to kit kat.

Does anyone know if these issues are resolved? Everything I look as under £150 seems to have issues.

Thanx.

Well, that's a great thread hijack, Thanks. Nothing that helps me with Moto G and Vodafone question though.

Did you have a look at the Smart 4 Power that I suggested?

Thanks, yes I did. Too big for my liking. It's even slightly bigger than a Nexus 5.

I like the look and size of the Moto G (4.5 inches), but don't want to buy if it's unreliable.

Cheers anyways.

Yes, it is quite large and heavy.  That's its downside.
