Hello..I have the same problem on the new vodafone smart 858..I can receive pic. messages from some users and not others..Has there been a definative answer on this as its driving me crazy? Appreciate this might not be the right place for this, but am a newbie trying to sort this issue..Thanks

What happens when you send an MMS to yourself?

Out of the messages that fail, can you tell me what network these are with?

What is the exact error message that you get?

How long has this been happening?

Does this happen if you put your SIM into another handset?

Hi there new to the forums and hoping a tech will help.

I have the Vodafone 858Smart, got sent a picture the other day couldn't download it, then I tried sending a picture, nothing....I rang Vodafone 4 times, I texted "web" to 40127 twice..still nothing, I went into the shop today, the manager guy took my phone, fiddled a bit with it, then sent me a picture message that hey presto popped up on my phone..great I thought...fixed.... got home tried to send a picture message, get the message "unable to send at this time, will be sent when this is available" , oh come on now, seriously, the guy mentioned about something that should appear in the notification bar at the top..when I'm at home, nothing....I trawled the forums and they suggested I turned off my wifi as it overrides, so turning off the wifi....nothing....Please can a tech tell me what's going wrong here??

It's important to realise that MMS will only work over a Mobile Network!

So if at Home you connect to your WiFi, then MMS will not send or recieve.

Thanks for your post here. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with this. I appreciate how frustrating this must be for you.

So that we can work out what is going on here can you tell me what Signal you have at your home location with Wi-Fi turned off? Is it 2G or 3G?

Also can you tell me if you are able to access the internet with Wi-Fi turned off?
