My daughter has the above phone and being a typical 9 year old she has been playing about with it and now the phone shows a sim lock message on screen and only has SOS service. 

How do we unlock the SIM? or do we need a new one?

To be honest if she has set a PIN code on the SIM then there are 2 options;

1. Enter the code incorrectly until it asks for a PUK code then enter this into the phone to reset.

How do i get my PUK

2. Get a new SIM free of charge from our online store with a new number.

Ordered a new SIM with it being a PAYG one can I call up and activate it and keep the current mobile number she has? the same as you can with a contract SIM?

No problem, Customer Services can quickly transfer the number to the new SIM.

As soon as you receive the SIM, you will need to activate and register the SIM before Customer Services can make the number transfer.

It could be the default codes have set in:

Security Code: 1234 - Used to lock and unlock the phone, resetting or setting the security level.

PIN Code: 0000 - Used to lock or unlock the SIM Card.
