hey guys im also having the same problem as everyone else and have redeemed the amazon code if they are still not working is it alright for me to apply for a points refund or have an argos voucher instead? because i dont want to be waiting forever for a code that probably will likely never show up.

I'm also having a problem getting my promised £20 Amazon voucher.  I redeemed my Rewards for it on 4 March and chased by live chat on 6 March, when I was promised it would be sent that day.  It hasn't appeared.  There are two options - either Vodafone is grossly incompetent (highly probable) or it's committing fraud.

I filled in the form as requested by Alex and an advisor actually phoned me this morning. A point in their favour. However, they gave me the exact same code I already have so I wasn't confident it would resolve my problem. The advisor said if it didn't work I should go to a Vodafone shop and choose accessories worth £20 instead of the Amazon voucher.

I tried again on Amazon and the code is still invalid.

I have now left Vodafone.

My response to Dane of Vodafone is that if it is not in fact possible to redeem Rewards for a £20 Amazon voucher, Vodafone need to remove that option from their website.  Unfortunately they leave a trail (in writing) of untruths (a text to confirm the voucher will be with the customer within 24 hours, a live chat stating the voucher will be sent that day).  I've said I will escalate my complaint if I don't receive my voucher.

I wouldn't bet on getting a valid Amazon voucher. I was told yesterday by Vodafone that they're having problems with Amazon vouchers, so I suspect they're removing them from their rewards scheme. You used to be able to get Argos vouchers as well but they removed them a while ago.

Having been told today that I can redeem my points in a Vodafone shop, I wouldn't be surprised if they're moving towards mobile phone related rewards. They did suggest they might have credited my account with £20, in lieu of my points redemption, if I were still a Vodafone customer. I moved to BT.

Good luck! Vodafone is great when it's working but terrible at solving problems.

That's open ended!  I'm sure I'll hear from you within the 48 hours originally mentioned and that you will have valid Amazon voucher details for me.

Problems here too.  After waiting 24 hours I contacted them and told them I hadn't recieved the email with my voucher code.  I was told the email had been delivered and that if I hadn't recieved it it would be escalated to a "dedicated team",  I was told to expect an email from this mystery dedicated team within 48 hours and no email arrived from them either.  I was told the voucher would probably arrive within 72 hours.  I feel like people are just talking crap and not giving a straight answer to any of my questions.

Dane - you didn't get back to me within the 48 hours mentioned, so I've escalated my complaint and have written to your CEO today, copying in a few other interested parties.  Your response is frankly an insult.

Ledbury26, they got back to me within the specified 48 hours but quite frankly, it was a waste of time. They only gave me the same useless voucher code and the same spiel I'd already had. In my opinion they send you round in circles in the hope you'll get fed up and give up.

I've had problems in the past, although never with reward points, but communicating with them is hard work and you know your being fobbed off when you do finally get a response. Solving problems just isn't their forte. I've given up with Vodafone altogether.

I agree.  I've had an email from Vodafone with an Amazon voucher code today but - guess what? - it's a voucher code they sent me in December 2016 and can't be credited to my account.  I'm going to carry on fighting them because they are really annoying me.  I think Trading Standards is an option because they are offering an inducement to spend money with them which is false.

I got an email saying that 2000 points had been taken but the voucher had not been created so they had added 2000 points back to my account for me to try again but as of now the 2000 points isn't there.

Same problem with redeeming 2000 points for a £20 Amazon Voucher - points gone but no voucher received!  

 

So I have just had a very sureal conversation with a live chat operative.  (Not sure what time zone they are in but its definately not GMT!)

Don't think I will every receive my voucher.
