On the 14th of November my mother took a set of clear instructions to my local phone shop instructing them to do the following:
1) Top up £10 onto my Blackberry, giving me 100 minutes, 300 texts, and 50mb of internet allowance.
2) Activate Blackberry messenger, thus deducting £5 from my balance, leaving me with £5 credit and my freebie package.
However, this has not occurred. I have just been told I have 10p left remaining credit, despite the fact that I should have been using free texts and minutes! I have no idea what on earth is going on, and would like this problem to be resolved immediately.

"Top up £10 and we'll give you £10 credit AND 300 texts and 500MB web access."
"If you want to use services like email and BlackBerry Messenger on your phone, you'll need to opt in to the BlackBerry Internet Service. This costs £5 and lasts for 30 days - we’ll take £5 from your credit unless you opt out."
How are these two options from the website mutually exclusive? My friends on Orange only have to top up £10 and receive both packages. This is absolutely ludicrous.

The Freebee you are talking about in your post is the Text and Web Freebee, in your original post you were talking about the Freedom Freebee.. These are 2 different packages altogether, you get no free minutes with the Text and Web Freebee but you do get to keep your credit which would allow you to pay for your Blackberry services..
I have provided links for you regarding both Freebees

I have just called up Vodafone, and they've rectified their mistake: I now have my 300 texts, my credit has been restored, and my internet 500MB has been added.
Thanks for your assistance.
