Applying the freedom freebies

Hi - as a new payg user, I believed that I was enrolled into text+web freedom freebies from the initial conversation I had when I first spoke to vodaphone on 40043 on the 9th June.
Having just needed to top up again, I did so via the phone as previous, and only then registered for my account online. The extras did not seem to have the freebies selected - so I've done that now but it was after the top-up! does that mean I lost the freebie ?? It's not very clear to new users that you need to 'opt-in' on line after believing the voice on the phone has done this for you....
Also - what is the difference in buying a £20.00 top-up (option 1) rather than a 20.00 freedom freebie from option 2 on the phone line? or am I being thick here... Maybe the blackberry service fee has to come from a 'top-up' purchase rather than a freedom purchase? Its all a little unclear and the speed of your web-site is really very frustrating which does not help.
Thanks.

HI, the best thing to do with regards to your Text and Web pack would be for you to contact Customer Care on 191 and explain the situation to the advisor, who may add the pack on for you as a gesture of goodwill..
The difference between top ups is that if you just do a £20 top up, then that is normal calling credit and can be used for anything, ie calls, browsing texting etc, and you would have to pay for BIS with normal calling credit..However if you buy a Freedom Freebie then that would allocate you a certain amount of allowance to be used over a 30 day period, and then it will expire.. I have provided a link that tells you what you get with your Freebee..

Hi nesssssa,
In order to purchase a Freedom Freebee you will have to have enough credit to pay for the package, so you will need to top up again..
I have provided a link with regards on how to do this
