Hello!

I am writing on behalf of my sister who is leaving Australia next week to visit Italy and Greece. We have a vodafone UK PAYG phone that we were hoping she could use. Our Dad was recently in the UK and the phone/number has an international freebee with it. We understand that to top up on credit from Australia we are to buy a top up voucher from a vodafone outlet here. I have two questions:

1. Can we (back in Australia) top up her phone whilst she is actually in Italy/Greece?

2. What will the international call rates be from Italy/Greece back to Australia?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks for your post about using a UK PAYG SIM in Italy and Greece.

If your sister opts in to Vodafone International then calls will be from as little as 5p per minute. Check the link for more information There is also a comprehensive list of FAQ's that will help you answer any further queries you may have.

Providing there is an online account then you should be able to top up the account using a UK registered credit or debit card. Here is a list of ways to top up.
