It's a shame to see that your friend has been disappointed with the recent service received from store surrounding the repair. The store would use the contact number provided on the repair note to call so apologies if this hadn't been updated prior to the phone being sent away.
For future reference you can also use our online repair tracker. As long as you have the reference and mobile number the repair status is in real time so can always be tracked. You can track your repair here - Vodafone Repair Progress.
