I recently got a new pay monthly sim with a new number. I have £17.50 left in my PAYG bonus bank. If I transfer this bonus bank to credit to the PAYG account and want to keep the PAYG number can I redeem the unused credit to my Pay Monthly account?
How do I go about doing this? I have not filled out the form yet to transfer my old number to the new sim. I don't really want to loose all that credit.
I look forward to your reply. Cheers

You wont have any problems transferring your Bonus Bank credit to your new pay monthly account and it will be creditted towards the first or second bill.
As soon as you are ready to transfer your PAYG number to your contract, give the Porting Team a call on 08080 945 945, Option 3 and they will transfer the number and make a credit to your pay monthly account.

If you are changing from PAYG to contract you dont need a PAC code, it will only confuse things you only use a PAC code porting from another network which you are not.
The Porting Team will transfer your PAYG number to contract as soon as you call them.
Alternatively, if you wait for an admin to reply to this thread, they will transfer the number for you together with all the credit you had on PAYG to your first or second bill.

Hi Ann
Thanks for all your help. I called the numbr you gave me and Martin sorted things out with a 15 minute phone call. I wish I had just called in the first place rather than trying to find information on the vodafone website or an online form.
They have even given me a free sim for a couple of months for my loyalty to vodafone.
I'm sorry but for some reason it is not possible to click on the star on the left, it just says "sorry it is not possible to give qudos to this post"
You'll just have to imagine i clicked it.
Thanks again

Thats strange, you should be able to click the star under my name on the left.
You mention you have been given a free SIM, usually these SIMs are a monthly 30 day roll over contract and if you do not contact Vodafone 30 days before the free period ends, which Vodafone dont want you to do, you will be billed after the second month.
You need to remember to cancel the SIM and give 30 days notice.

Is it also possible to transfer credit from a PAYG number to an already active contract account as? Both numbers are registered in my name
