Is there any reason why I can recieve texts but can't send them?

I've tried sending them by either replying to the original sender, or starting from scratch, but I keep getting the message that it failed.

I've checked all the settings and they seem ok.

The phone is a Samsung Galaxy Ace btw.

Managed to solve this one.

For some reason, the message centre number was wrong.
