Cancel Freebees and Freedom pack

My daughter opted in and used a freebee. The 30 day period elapsed and I have topped her with credit so she can purchase a Freedom pack instead. She tried to do so but was unable to.

Can anyone advise how to opt out of the freebees so that she can purchase Freedom pack? I can't find any documentation that mentions how to cancel freebees. Can't get through to customer services either for help.

Many thanx

Re: Cancel Freebees and Freedom pack

You dont need to opt out of Freebees.  This previous thread where there is reply from an Admin will answer your question.

If you are having problems purchasing a Freedom Pack, Customer Services will help.

Many thanks for your quick response Ann.

Unfortunately the thread you quoted (along with the T&Cs I've read) has only further confused the issue. The suggestion in the thread is just to wait until the period has expired.

The T &Cs specifically state that you must opt out up to 48hours BEFORE the expiry and only if you've utilised  ALL your free allowance.

The thread does not confirm one or the other.

Do you perhaps know how to opt out?

I have tried contacting Customer Services but can't actually get through ... the only options is to go back to a previous menu or hang up ... very frustrating

Ok, it all makes sense now, the only thing I still require is how to opt out.

This is actually how to do it step-by-step.

Dial 2345

press 3

press 1

press 2

press 1

this is what I did and it worked for me.

Hi sawardeeja and welcome to the eForum

Thanks for your post here.

I’m afraid I’m not entirely sure what you mean here. Do you mean give the credit back? If so I’m afraid this wouldn’t be possible as you will have been able to use the service for the last couple of days at very least.

If you mean something else please let me know and I’ll be happy to help you further.

Thanks

Wayne

Wayne

If I have bought a freedom freebee, still has 13 days left but want to buy a better one for 20 pound, how do I opt out of the first one so that I can buy the 20 pound one? I've topped up and everything and I'm affriad of using my credit before the 13 days is up!
Please help :smileyhappy:

Re: Cancel Freebees and Freedom pack

Hi,
I bought a freedom freebee last month and it runs out on April 13th, however I have used up everything on it and now would like to top up again so I bought a new freedom freebee. I've been told I can't use this one until I cancel the first freedom freebee that I've used up. How do I go about doing this as I need my phone working before April 13th?
Thank you

Hi jadebam,

Am afraid that you will have to wait until your current Freedom Freebee expires before you receive your next one..

I have provided a link, if you have a look at point 7
