Not happy with what happened to me whislt abroad with my BlackBerry.
I work at sea and, as such, usuallly don't have mobile phone signal and therefore can't always keep track of credit or top up.
I got a message saying to call 40035 for free to reactivate my BlackBerry services subscription.
Unfortunately, this number didn't work, probably due to me being out of the UK.
Instead, I called Customer Care from my mobile and was really made up when they managed to activate my BlackBerry Services immediately.
Calling from the UK you get a message saying you will be charged a 25p flat rate charge.
Wasnt happy at all to find out that calling Customer Care used up calling credit as there is NO warning of it costing you to call them.

You are charged 25p to call Customer Care on PAYG if you wish to speak to an advisor whilst in the UK. If you are calling from abroad and using the alternative number, you will be charged a roaming fee.
There are many automated self help options on 191which could solve your enquiry without the need to speak to an advisor. You also have the option of the help section of the website and, if you do not mind waiting for a reply, there is also the email service.
You also have the wonderful help and support from members and Vodafone staff on this forum who can solve many questions and problems and a member of the Tech Team will get back to you as soon as possible.
