Pay As You Go - Will my SIM work 12 months since I last used it?

Hello all, I live in the US and visited the UK last summer.
I bought and used a Pay as you Go Vodaphone while in the UK.
I still has minutes when I left. I will be coming back this summer,
about 1 year later. Will I still be able to use by phone or has
the account gone inactive because I haven't used it since Aug last year?
Can I reactivate this phone if it has been disabled?
Being in the US, I cannot just try it unfortunatley.
Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately, since its been more than 270 days since you last used your PAYG SIM card, it will no longer be active.

You will however, my able to use the same phone, just pop into a Vodafone store on the next visit to the UK where you will be able to purchase a new SIM card and add the necessary credit for your needs.

Hi LLee.

Welcome to the eForum.

Looks like AnnS has beaten me to it, AnnS do you ever sleep? Thanks for your help :)

Unfortunatly AnnS is right and if its not been used it will now be deactivated.

My Best suggestion would be to get a new SIM card from one of our stores.

Thanks
