Phone credit rapidly running down

I recently bought a new phone (Blackberry Curve 3G) and on Sunday (3rd April) I topped up £15. I was told that I would receive 300 free texts and 500MB of free internet. Since Sunday, I've used the internet a couple of times, I've made a few short calls (mainly to customer services) and I've sent some standard UK texts, (I only started sending texts a couple days ago). I'm now down to around £5 and it's the 7th April! When I send a text my credit goes down, even though I have 300 free texts! This is ridiculous! I think I might have to switch to someone like Orange or O2 if this continues! I'm not made of money and I can't afford to be spending £15 a week on phone credit!

Re: Phone credit rapidly running down

If you wish to subscribe to Vodafone Freebees, you have to opt in before topping up.  If you have topped up before opting in, you will not receive the 300 texts and 500mb mobile internet.

You mention that half of your texts were the equivalent of two to three texts each.  If this is the case, your message would have been converted to MMS and charged separately at 35p per message.  You would also have been charged £1.00 per day for internet usage.

You will be able to find the information for Vodafone Freebees, including the Terms and Conditons on the folllowing link from the website.
