If anyone has made their top-up via any method other than through the device and has not received their redemption code after 24 hours, please can you post on this thread to let us know so we can get this sorted for you.

What about those who have tried following the instructions you keep posting but still can't top up? As I said in my post, selecting Vodafone on my Vita has not caused the Vodafone logo to appear and I can't access the app to top up. What should I do?

Yep Dave.  I have a working SIM, I topped up £5 via the website (I received the reciept on my vita) on the 21st (as my console arrived a day early) and after 72 hours waiting still haven't received my code for Wipeout 2048.

I Activated and topped my sim up with 5pound over 24hrs ago and have not received a code for wipeout .
Every time I call customer services I get nowere.

Also I received a message in the operators notifications saying "welcome to Vodafone" and gave me a link on how to top up
And I've been told I should of received a message with how much I just topped and my sim number, but did not.

Dave, please read my previous posts and many others on here. A quick resolution to this problem would be ideal. I DO NOT want to have to phone vodafone again regarding this issue and still get nowhere.

I topped up £10 via the vita, recieved a conifirmaton of Topup on the vita...but still no wipeout code 48 hours later.

I topped up via website on my pc, as trying to top up on the Vita was incredibly frustrating with the web page constantly going to the top of the screen every time I clicked on a box. It was hard enough trying to do it through the pc, nevermind the Vita. I've spent another fruitless morning on the phone to Vodafone and got nowhere again. Apparently, my Wipeout code had been passed on to the sms department and it should be with me soon. That was 10:00 this morning. And guess what? Sweet FA has been sent to me.

Ric, i was told the same thing yesteray, passed to the delivery team and the code would be manually pushed within 6 hours...24 hours later, no dice. Reps on the phone have no clue due to seemingly no training on the 'vita phone'

I topped up on the 21st on your website and also created an account, I can log in to the account and I can see I have the £5 credit.

No wipeout code after 3 days.

 

Please sort this out like you stated above, you can message me for account details and vita sim card ph number.

 

Another angry customer.

I rang customer services and they have said the same thing, they took my details as they are collecting examples of errors. Quite honestly they said they don't know how long it will take but I will receive my code as they can see I have topped up.

Like many others here I am still awaiting my code. I topped up via evoucher through my laptop on the Vodafone webiste. I got a message to my vita saying top up had been successfull. I did this at 6pm yesterday.

I have been told by your CS to wait 24 hours however im pretty sure this code is not going to arrive.

Can you please help?

Sorry state of affairs

Well this is a sorry state of affiaars and voda has dropped the ball. It's no wonder Apple went with O2 when launching the iPhone in the UK.

 

Tried the method to top up and it was a complete fail. Spoke to a customer service representive and explained the situation, seem disinterested and not really willing to help. Well top upped te sim is activated....but...yup, you guessed it no code.

 

How on Earth does a global communications company drop the ball so badly on a huge launch, it reflects badly in the way they treat their customers.

 

Like some have said, quick to take money, but....well that's it. "Give us your money"

 

Why should I wait 24 hours for a poxy message with 12 characters. I understand if it's a monkey sitting behind the buttons waiting for his banana to be dispensed before he presses the button...but this is not on.

 

I am absolutely livid with the way Voda can get away with this.

 

If I'm being aggressive it's because I want whats owed. Not in 5mins, not in 8 hours not tomorrow...I want what I've paid for now!

 

Still no code.

I updated the Vita through wifi to the latest version (sorry, don't have the Vita with me so can't check the version no.). I then logged in to my PSN account and set up other bits and pieces. I then put in the SIM and went to "Network Operators" and selected "Vodafone". That's it really, other than a quick game of Uncharted in the meantime.

 

I have no Vodafone icon and the Network Operators icon still takes me to the APN screen. The top of the screen shows me that the Vita is connected to the Vodafone network and has a strong signal.

I swear you couldn't make it up. i just filled in all the details on the "Contact Us", only for me to press next and be told
