My Account

Have been trying to register the SIM I got with my Vita for 4 days now. Keep getting the "Some Business Exception" error. Frankly i'm annoyed. I upgraded to the 3G model because of the Wipeout deal when you topped up, Yet i've still not been able to even get the 3G working because I can't register the SIM to top it up.

Re: PS VITA - Topped up but no code for wipeout?

Hey Dave.

Having the same problem as everyone else. Updated, topped up on launch day, still no code a week later. The phone support has been absolutley useless in trying to solve the fact i havent recieved my code yet. Everytime i ring the advisor has a completley different reason for it not being sent, two of which didnt even seem to understand the details of the offer and tried to tell me that i wasnt entitled to a code. I bought my machine from game and topped up via voucher because the online top up sevice wasnt working. i have a vodafone account linked to my sim and have recieved other texts from vodafone concerning offers and such so i know that my sim is active.

I commend you Dave because you seem to be the only person concerned about dealing with this issue and i thank you on behalf of everyone for that. Also ive followed the instruction for PM and couldnt as hard as ive tried to get it working so im posting in this thread as a last option. Could you help me with recieving a code? or can anyone tell me what im doing wrong because im all out of ideas?

Many Thanks.

Hi Everyone.

Steveh84 - I understand that it would make life simpler on one account but unfortunately at this time I am unable to amend this, however you just need to replace the 44 with a 0.

Malachai - I have checked our inbox and see we are still awaiting your response, please can you ensure you have followed the complete instructions in th PM including things like the subject line, once I have this I can help you further.

blackcloud_777n - I am confident we can get this resolved for you, I have sent you a Private Message (don't believe I have sent you one yet) and if you can follow all the instructions I will be with you as soon as I can.

Yume - I have sent you a Private Message also as it sounds as though an account has not been completely set up so I will take a look so you can progress.

AnnoyedPSV - I can assure you we have no message from yourself, I know as I am monitoring it myself and the box is currently empty, please take a look at the Private Message and ensure you are following each step correctly.

You can find your PM inbox here.

Many Thanks

Hi Dave,

I am also awaiting my WipEout code, however when I try to PM you, it says "Access Denied" when I click your link to get onto my PM inbox. Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: Playstation Vita 3G Sim

Hi all

Yume - Please can you check again as I have resent this for you.

OliverBanks - I have checked your user settings and can see that all is correct so I have now sent you a Private Message, please check and follow the instructions provided.

You can find your PM inbox here.

Deanoaka - How very strange as the PS Vita should be supplied with a SIM, where did you purchase this from? You can order a SIM online however if there is a Local Vodafone Store you will be able to obtain one from there quicker free of charge.

Many Thanks

Re: Playstation Vita 3G Sim

Thanks for the information Dave, although the store did say the only way to resolve it would be online, I have ordered another sim.

I bought it from HMV. The sim pack inside had a small leaflet but no sim attached.

Re: Playstation Vita 3G Sim

Ok i've got it now, but I've already sent an email to customer support.

I've sent another one with a bit more information, guess i'm waiting on a phonecall or email now.

Thanks anyway.

Re: Playstation Vita 3G Sim

I filled in the 'email us' form with all the details requested but on first submission I got yet another error. Fortunately going back in Safari I found that all the form was still filled in and resubmitted and it seemed to go through, with an annoying step pretending there's existing guides for this specific problem.

I've just received an email autoresponse so it seems to have gone through.

"This is an auto-response to let you know we’ve received your email and will be contacting you within 48 hours."

Re: Playstation Vita 3G Sim

Dave -

Thanks for the call, just signed up now and added the topup. Surfing without problem.

I assume the code for wipeout will be automatically sent within a day or so?

Thanks for sorting that out.

Hi, DaveCD

I got your PM and sent an email back (the form just gave me an error) with 2 phone numbers to call me on. Just to let you know that the mobile is the best one to call me on as, although I am at home today, I'm going to be out and about for the rest of the week.

Cheers.

Re: Playstation Vita 3G Sim

Hi guys,

Narkata - I'm popping you the PM so we can look to help.

You can find your PM inbox here. If you can't access this link, please ensure that the box next to "Turn on private messages" is ticked on this page, and let us know if you need any further assistance.

---------------------------------------

Shin - That automatic response is simply meant to confirm that we've received the email and will be getting back to you. The 48 hours is a guideline but we'll aim to contact you well before then.

---------------------------------------

Yume - if you don't receive the call within 24 hours, please let us know and we'll get that sorted.

---------------------------------------

Zaichik - If you give two numbers well always try the second if we don't reach you on the first, so don't worry that we'll call the wrong one.

Dave

Re: Playstation Vita 3G Sim

i activated my sim over phone last tuesday, over a week ago now. I have being sent to sony, sent to an instore manager and to the shop i bought the vita. everyone has given me a different response and im confused and angry. after 7 days and 2 top ups i have yet to receive my wipeout code. wipeout was the main game i wanted on vita and the only reason i went for 3G and stayed with vodofone. The customer servie i received from the in store manager at vodofone barnsley was appauling. i asked a sales advisor to speak to him regarding vita. she came back with instructuions the manager gave to her and did not ome out to see me him/her self.

i will message dave but im at the point where i may demand the games value as top up from customer services.
