Dave, i'm jumping into this thread quite late on, but I've got the same problem.
FIrst of all I'm unable to register on your website ("Some Business Exception has occured while processing registration/subscription" error) to use a voucher top up so I've had to use my card instead - which worked for this new card I got from an unopened vita in the Vodafone store here earlier. I've topped up the sim on the vita and no code arrived. I got the confirmation of top up on the Vita itself but not sure when the Wipeout code should come.

Hope someone here or the mods can assist.
I purchased the PS Vita last Friday (24/02) and purchased a voucher code from the local Vodafone store. They activated my Vita PAYG sim card in the Vodafone store (Bracknell). The guy put the sim into a phone and topped it up via that method, and afterwards popped the sim back into the Vita & sure enough the sim was activated.
I only received one message welcoming me to Vodafone & now more then 72 hours later I still haven't received my Wipeout code.
I have checked the top right corner of the screen for messages & also in the Network setting & still nothing. I have called up the PAYG help number on the mini booklet that came with the sim & have called the number 3 times now, spoken to someone and still nothing. They noted down my sim number and said it should be resolved within 24 hours...this was 48 hours a go.

I got a call from one of the two Dave's here and finally got the code, (though the first one I was provided with wouldn't work, the second code worked fine which I was sent several minutes later).
I guess we're kind of getting pushy about our codes, and part of me says that it's greed on our part; but on the balance, we've bought a £260 and made a £5 top-up, with the cheapest memory card costing £18....I kind of like to feel it's our right to demand this.
For me, it seemed the harder I pushed, the more things got done; so don't let up people, (I'll be keeping a watch on this topic to see how things progress).

Hello everyone, I am also hoping I can get some help with the Wipeout code.
I brought a 3G/Wi-Fi Vita from Game on the 24th and got all up and running, had a pain getting the sim card to run but that was down to the settings not being right.
Got that sorted and then tried to top up via the Vita through the link in the Network Operator area. As many other people, I had trouble getting it to accept my card all weekend. So yesterday (27th) while I was in town I visited my local Vodafone shop (Kidderminster) and the guy who served me knew of the problem as he had helped someone top up there card and got the code ten minutes later. With his help and using the booklet with my number and such we had topped my card up with £5 and all seemed fine, I went home and decided I would check the next day (today, 28th).
All I have recieved so far is a welcome message from Vodafone and the 3G works all fine as I have tested it numerouse times to check the internet while I was about. I dont know if this is too early to ask for help but it has been over 24 hours and I have not recieved the code yet.
Thanks in advance.

Same here. Topped up 5 pounds, received thank you message but, no code for wipeout. Can your system even tell the card is a vita card. It seems to me that it doesn't seem to know and so never sends the code.
Can someone sort this out for me please!
Also just registered an account here for the vita's number.

Same problems here:
Sim card activated via vodafone helpline. Told to wait 24 hours for a wipeout code. Phoned after 3 days as no code. Told that the responsibility lies with Sony! Can anyone help?
29-02-2012 10:21 AM
I have followed all instructions and have topped up £5 and registered my account successfully. But it has been 7 days and I have still not received my wipeout code. I have been calling vodafone customer services non stop over the past week and have followed their advice and instructions but have still not received it.
Can you please help
