Hello, I have tried to top up my sim card as most of us here have, and I ran into the same issues; business exceptions.. and I wasn't sure whether or not I had to register my sim through my vita
Either I wasn't able to do that so i followed some advice on this thread and topped up broadband by 5 pounds using the number I received with my sim card for the vita.
Its been an hour and a half now and I'm hoping the code will come.
I'm just posting here in case theres something you can do, or if you can guide me to the right method of obtaining that redemption code for the Wipeout game.

* I just wanted to add, Pre topping up and post I am not using 3G, top left it says Vodafone UK (2G) sometimes it goes down to just G
Am I doing something wrong. Can I get 3G?
I live in Wales. , Is that it?

Just thought I would share my experience with others here in case it helps as I finally got my sim topped up and working.
It turns out I needed to activate the sim which can only be done over the phone by dialing 08700 776655 (nowhere in the instructions does it tell you to do this though). It took around half an hour whilst it was looked into but then I was able to pay the £5 over the phone and the Wipeout code came about 2 hours later.
If you try to create an account on the Vodaphone website you can't as it sends a text to the PSVita but as the sim isn't active you can't receive it so it never arrives.
I do find the messages you get on this website confusing though as saying there is a temporary problem with the service rather than "card not activated phone this number" would have saved a lot of time as it means I pointlessly kept trying.
Also why is there no link to the PM box in the navigation bar of the website?!
Oh well it's sorted now!

pro_Ove - I've checked the emails I have from our queue for this issue and I cannot see one from you. Did you include the code from the PM to ensure it was diverted straight to the correct queue?
I cannot check manually on the system for a misqueued email as your email address is not included on your eForum registration. If you can update the profile to include this I'll be happy to run a search to locate it for you so we can get this resolved.
Kamikazu - You can check your local coverage on our coverage map. If you're unsure, confirm your postcode for me and we'll check for you.

robinwilson16 - You only need to get us to complete activation the SIM card if the online registration and top-up is unsuccessful. The procedure we've listed activates the card for you to avoid the need to contact us.

Dave I have sent an email titled "PSVita Code" and in the email I included the code you have sent me on the PM as well as my contact number, name, forum username from my email (email removed for security purposes) .
Now a very odd thing is happening on this forum, as you can see I am logged into this account however when I click on "My Account" I am being redirected to a login page and when I try to enter my correct login details a following message pops up: "There seems to be a problem with your account. Please try again or contact us.
Incorrect username or password. To be reminded of your login details, please click here."
When I click on "Forgot username" it states that my account does not exist... Clearly it does as I am able to post messages.
If you require me to send another email please specify where, what title and what should it include. Thanks for help.

@pro_Ove I had the same problem mate. The one it's redirecting you to is nothing to do with the forums. It's a kind of a "Vodafoneloveclub" instead of the forums which you obviously are registered for. For the forum account stuff go to support at the top of the page and click on Our Forums. Pointlessly confusing and unclear.

hi i bought a PS Vita 3G 4 days ago and have encounterd a problem
1. when making a vodafone account when i comes to step 3 and when i have completed all i need to fill out and then go to submit this
the page will load again and say's
There seems to be a problem with your account. Please try again or contact us.
Some Business Exception has occured while processing registration/subscription'
and will not let me make an account i have tryed repeating this 10+ times
i have already bought a £5 voucher and am now waiting to activate my 3G and to recive my wipeout code

Hi thought I would let you know my problem, topped up on the 3/3/12 waited for code but nothing arrived, phoned vodafone told me to wait 24 hours, did thid and phoned again, did this a further 6 times waiting 24 hours each time as told. Phoned up today they gave me a code over the phone yipee, but this was not that easy kept getting the message code invalid, phoned them again they gave me another code guess what that is invalid also, this is the worst service ever. Still no valid code and topped up 13 days ago. Vodafone are rubbish.

I'm having the same problem as everybody else I guess. I can't top up my VITA sim online or register for an account.
Therefore can't get my WIPEOUT 2048 code...
Any help gratefully recieved.

Mine is sorted downloaded Wipeout yesterday. Cheers to DaveCD for help. I appreciate some ppl are havimg problems with the website and some ppl have topped up and not got a code, but for people who are just unable to top up, this is how mine was sorted: I posted asking for help, I sent an email via "contact us", included the ref I was given in the PM after posting, a link to my post, my Vita sim mobile number and a brief message asking for my sim to be activated which I think is most ppl's problem who can't top up. The next day my sim was activated, I topped up and about an hour later I got my code. I don't mean to rub it in, but Wipeout is kickass, especially for free(or £5 depending how you look at it). 5 days left! Good luck.

I've recently bought a Vita from my local Game store, eventually managed to top up £5 (using the Vita's network operator browser shortcut) and got the message on the VIta confirming that the topup was successful however its been over a week now and I've had nothing come through code wise for Wipeout,

Ive recently purchased my 3g Vita as well
i'm trying to top up this sim card but i cant seem to find a way of doing it.
I tried to top up online and it doesnt work, im getting a message saying that the online services are currently down.
also tried to register for my account but i never receive my security code.
dont know what to do now
