Just wanted to clarify on this, if after the 30 days of text and web freebee there is some time before the next £10+ is payed in will it continue to work or does another payment need to be made within the 30 days of the first and so on?

Hi, yes it will continue to work, but if you wish to receive the allowance every month then you would need to top up every month..

It will take up to 24 hours for the Freebee to be applied.  If it is not active tomorrow, give Customer Care a call and they will be able to help.

Hello

I have recently returned to PAYG and I have been using my first Text and Web Freebie which started on 4 October and when calling for my balance, the automated system told me it expires on 2 November.  I took this to mean at the end of the day on 2 November (today) however when I called for my balance yesterday it told me the Text and Web Freebie expired that day - on 1 November.  I have topped up £10 during the last 30 days and my account online says I am opted into this Freebie.

Can you tell me

1.  Why my Freebie expired yesterday only giving me 29 days; and

2.  When can I expect my next Freebie to start?  Should I expect a text to confirm?

Hi, i would take it since the automated service originally told you it would expire on the 2nd, then it will expire at midnight tonight.. This seems to be backed up by the fact that you have not received your new allowance yet.. If you check your balance in the morning you should find that your new allowance has been added

Thank you for the quick response,  I will check tomorrow and will come back to accept as answer if its on.  I'm still wondering why my pack expired a day earlier than it should have done.  Are you able to shed any light on this please?

Hi, if it was added on on the 4th of last month, then you have to remember to count that day in.. That would make it the full 30 days from 4th october-2nd november..

Yes, thats what I calculated too and what the automated phone system told me every day until I called late last night when it told me the pack expired that day (1st). I have called the automated system today and checked online and neither of them show my pack allowance. it definitely looks like it expired yesterday - very odd!

Thank you for your response, though i am still unclear, if i go a month without topping up the miminum allowence will i get the freebee still?when i get another 10+ credit?

Hi Cal,

You don't need to worry about this as if you do miss a top up you simply need to activate the freebee service again when you next top up to receive your freebee pack.
