Sim Card lost - numbers dialed & txted on sim card

i recently lost my pre paid vodaphone sim card and mobile. I was wondering if there was anyway of getting those numbers i used on the sim card since i brought it. The numbers i txted and dialed through the sim. Is there anyway of tracking these numbers & getting them back?

I had some very important contact numbers on there & i need them back desperately !!!!

PLEASE HELP!!!

Re: Sim Card lost - numbers dialed & txted on sim card

Hello palace_guard

If you did not back up your contacts, you would be unable to get them back.

You may be able to get a break down of recent numbers called by contacting Vodafone but there would be no names attached to the numbers.  There is a charge for the service, I think it is £10.00.

The only other alternative would be to contact some of your friends and see if they have any of the numbers.

Re: Sim Card lost - numbers dialed & txted on sim card

what do you mean by back up my contacts? the numbers were saves under my address book under my phone & used by the pre paid sim. there must be a way of tracking those numbers surely?

the service that charges £10.00 for the list of numbers dialled does that include numbers txt msged as well? Because they are the most important ones i need.

What phone number of ovdaphones would i call to see if they could do this for me?

thanks for your help

Re: Sim Card lost - numbers dialed & txted on sim card

Best number to call is either 191 if you have another vodafone handset you can borrow, or 08700 700 191 from any other phone.

Backing up your contacts usually involves syncing it with your computer using the software package from the phone manufacturer.  This will either put your phone contacts into your email program, or create a backup file with all of your phone settings and details, that you can use to restore to a new phone if yours is lost of broken.

As your contact book is local to the handset, the only visibility of any numbers from vodafone would be what are going through the network, so calls and txts outbound (as they would show on your bill if you were not pre-pay) and maybe calls and txt inbound if they can be tracked...Best to talk to someone to see what can be seen.
