Trying to top my mobile broadband account online and get the following (several times) - Any advice?

Thanks for your post here. I’m sorry to hear that you are having problems with this. I appreciate how frustrating this must be for you.

Having the same problem and error message,
I can't use the web-site to top-up or the automated top up line 2345, using my registered credit card, I contacted my bank thinking it was them rejecting it, but the payment was being accepted on their end and then withdrawn by you. Sort it out please. I need to top up my phone,

I can't top up either, only had my mobile dongle for a week and it has been useless to me for the past 2 days as I can't top up. Does this happen often?

Vodafone just phoned me now,
It turned out vodafone had the incorrect address for me, apparently if you update your address on the website it doesn't alter the one associated with your payment information. Sorted now tho.

I'm pretty sure there will be a specific reason we can identify and help resolve.
I've sent you an email to get your details. If you can include what happens to you step by step when you log in online through to the top-up failure then we'll get this looked into for you.

I've had the same problem time and again. I keep getting a message 'temporary error' - but all the time, not temporarily. And this is despite using firefox, IE, or trying from work or from home. I asked a guy in a vodafone store and he either knew nothing about this or played dumb.
Please either tell me what I am doing wrong, or if it is a problem at your end come clean. Severely tempted to switch providers at this stage.
