I've just activated a PAYG sim in my iPhone 3GS but I am having problems getting the internet to work.
I have topped up with £10 and the Text and Web Freebee is active (I got a txt & can see the the red bars in My Vodafone).
I have set the APN to pp.vodafone.co.uk
Now here's the strange bit. I can access my email through the "Mail" app, but Safari doesn't work, and neither does any other app that access the internet (like the Facebook app).
I have tried resetting the network settings and rebooting the phone, but still no luck. 3G and Cellular Data are turned on and WIFI is turned off.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your post about accessing the internet on your iPhone 3GS.
The APN looks absolutely fine to me.
Could you try the SIM in another handset to see if the issue follows the SIM? If it does then you can pick up a replacement from your local store or by calling 191. If these are not an option then you can get a free SIM from here.
If the issue remains with the handset could you check our network troubleshooting thread and post the template and we'll take a look at your local area?
