need help with topping up before my credit runs out!!

For some unknown reason the SMS application thats installed on my laptop along with the Vodafone dashboard for my current dongle do not match up.The texts i received from topping up with a previous dongle are showing up instead which is really confusing as the phone number on my dashboard is correct!Ive tried uninstalling completely to reinstalling from scratch but still old messages are there.So now i have a problem topping up and my credit is about to run out!I do not have a Vodafone phone so cant ring them to top up direct.Also the voucher top up app service reports its unavailable and to try again in a few minutes but been trying for hours now but it still cant verify my voucher number.I know it is valid as i only bought it from Post Office at teatime today.Does anyone know the reason for the service being unable to verify at this time?As a last resort i tried to register with Vodafone online and do it through an account but now i have come unstuck AGAIN as i cant retrieve the code it sent to me upon registration as my SMS app wont pick up any messages.Im wondering if settings are to blame.I do not know much about this but service centre box is blank and default button is selected.Any ideas would be great as unable to top up otherwise.I do not own a debit/credit card so thats out of the question.thanks in advance.JAYDEEYORK

I’m not sure why the numbers displaying incorrectly would affect your topping up.
