Prepaid Data Speeds vs Pay Monthly Speeds

Hi, Is there prioritisation over Pay Monthly data speeds as opposed to Pay as you go data?

It seems Vodafone have a strict enforcement of not allowing Pay as you go users to use the Pay Monthly 'internet' APN either.

Hi

Many Networks use different APN settings for pay monthly abd Payg accounts to differentiate them.

Ive run speed tests in the past along with a pay monthly customer and our speed tests were not too far apart. We were not using the same phone.

Hi @rasseru16

Different APN setting for PAYG and pay monthly is general amongst all the networks, it does not mean you won't be able to enjoy the same service as pay monthly.

You can read about Vodafone's Traffic Management policy on the link below.

Interestingly reading the phone plans traffic policy it states that the maximum data speed will be 10Mbps D/L on a non 4G plan but surely this isn't applicable anymore because everyone effectively now has access to 4G providing coverage and the phone permits?
