Vodafone price increase, contract cancellation?

Hi, I have just received a text from Vodafone stating that my monthly plan will be increasing by 3.2% on April 12.
I believe I read somewhere that you can cancel a contract if your contract price is increased mid term, I think it was ofcom. Anyway I'm just seeing if there is any truth in this?

Thank you

No truth because there is a clause in the terms and conditions that we as customers have all agreed to that gives them the authority to increase prices. Unfortunate but there it is.

I've just upgraded.  There are certain circumstances in which you can cancel due to a price rise and these should be explained in your Welcome pack.   I'm pretty sure an RPI increase isn't one of them, though.
