1471 service does not work anymore on Vodafone

Since the late 90s I always used *#147# to find out the last person who called your phone, even when your phone was off. This was great, it was free and could be used all over the world.

About 2 years ago this USSD code stopped working and we were told to call 1471. This was not as good as it didn't work in other countries and takes more time. 

However, I've just noticed that this service, 1471, doesn't seem to work on Vodafone now. Can you confirm this and is there any other option?

Hi all. I am definitely on the new billing system and just tried it and got the message saying it was not available to me.

I'm pretty sure I'll be on the new billing system (I only joined Voda in August last year) and, having just tried 1471, it works for me.
