Hi guys a bit of help please, i have read on the forum other members are having the same problem as i am, regarding upgrading early online.
I get this message "our system is down try again in a few hours" !
Any one help greatly appreciated

im having the same problem , have been trying since last night to upgrade early but constantly says system down , try in a few hours. really need to sort this a.s.a.p as my current phone isnt working properly!

now that i have my account as a consumer account and not business i can now upgrade, however it doesn't even say that i can upgrade today....yet customer service said i can but have to do it online. please help!
ps. my posts earlier today went completely ignored.

I'm going to pop both of you an email so we can get you in touch with our upgrades specialists - they'll give you a call and be happy to discuss your options with you.
loki2001 - apologies if you felt you were being ignored, we're a small team and try to work everything in date and time order, just to be fair to everyone's queries. I've contacted you from here rather than the earlier thread as the team can only arrange deals for consumer customers and I didn't want you to miss out because of the issue with your account.

thank you Dave for the reply, i'm just replying to your email now.
incidentally my account online thinks its still business, even though as you have said its been confirmed its now consumer....somewhat confusing me lol.

The online registration is a separate entity to the account, so changes to the account type aren't reflected in the nature of the online account, even if the changes are.
More importantly, the business account online billing is fundamentally different to the consumer account Business billing - Generally, business accounts are set up with one administrator and other users being approved for limited access, a pattern not needed for consumer accounts. Because of this, if the account type is changed, the online registration needs to be deleted and recreated.
If this wasn't done for you when the account type was sorted, then we can arrange this for you - just ask the web relations team to pass you over to us when you've finished speaking with them and we'll take a look!

thanks Dave for the reply, I haven't yet heard from the upgrades team though i have sent the requested details by email.
you would be right, the online account hasn't been changed at all and still states its a business account. would you be able to assist me sorting this out and giving the upgrades team a nudge please?

my previous problems with the account has been fixed, it now states its a consumer (personal) account, though it won't allow me to upgrade even though it states available from 3rd august 2011.......totally confused.

found out the reason why i couldn't upgrade early after sorting everything else out, managed to upgrade online yesterday and the new phone came today. i'm well pleased in the end.
i wish to thank the teams for helping though, i guess my impatients won out in the end *feels guilty*

i have managed to upgrade today but all i have recieved is the thank you email nothing else
would someone be able to help with how long it takes to be processed and the phone to be sent out

Hi i have been trying all day to upgrade online but keeps telling me system down was told to phone to do it over the phone by an online advisor but when i phone i was told i cannot do it over the phone this early my phone does not work as charger is broke so really need to upgrade can anyone help me please
