Pay monthly services

My contract ends on the 10th of July 2011, so I roughly have 5 months left on my contract but I want to buy my contract out, I don't wish to upgrade as I want to take my IPhone to a Pay As You Go plan for the release of Apples new phone this year.

I pay £40.86 (Incl VAT).

So how much am I looking to pay for an early cancellation?

Somewhere I read that, its your monthly cost (minus the VAT which is 20%) x by the amount of months you have left? Is this right?

Yep   its number of months left x your line rental excluding the VAT then deduct 2%
