I Received a call from 08456069659 claiming to be vodafone and offered me a deal with an iphone for being a valued customer as i have been with vodafone for a long time. They did not ask me for any of my bank details and the call did seem legit however they said they would send me an email to confirm the deal and i have yet to hear anything. Does anyone have any advice or a similar experience with this number?

That'd be a VERY quick search on line, lol ! I had a look a couple of hours ago and the impression I got was that back in 2011 the number did indeed belong to Eurodebt Recovery, but that more recently it seems to belong to some sort of telemarketing outfit. Different arms of the same company , possibly ? Or maybe just Eurodebt giving up the number and someone else taking it on. Anyway it's stilll sus whatever it is.

EuroDebt appears to be have been a trading name of Pentagon (UK) Limited who also own a comany by the name of MoneySave Solutions so maybe it's them thats been calling.
They still sound a bit of dodgy setup.

I just recieved a call from this number claiming to be you. They were wanting to reward me for being such a loyal customer for such a long time. He told me they couldn't directly give free things away as part of their scheme but instead could order massively discounted products as a reward. I was told I would recieve a free iPad mini tomorrow morning on my doorstep, and I would only need to pay £26 a month for the data and £4 something for the delivery. I was told both of these charges would appear on my usual Vodafone bill.
The guy on the phone could tell me when I took this phones contract out, what phone I had, didn't need any of my bank details, and only for me to confirm my address (which I did very fast to make sure he wasnt copying it down).
Have I just been scammed!? I am very worried that he was able to tell me when I took my contract out, what phone I had, already knew my bank details, and was able to add this extra cost to my already vodafone bill if this is a scam.
He also said I could change my mind within seven days by either calling 191, emailing or going in to a vodafone store.

Had yet another phone call from this number; purporting to be Vodafone and offering me a tablet.
I mentioned this post; and said they may be working on behalf of Vodafone; but too my understanding they were not 'actually' Vodafone.
The salesperson was adamant they were calling from Vodafone; and mentioned they wouldn't be allowed to state such a thing as OFCOM wouldn't allow it.

I've been recieving calls from this number, I answered once and was told that it was a Vodafone employee. They asked to speak to my mum (I assume this was because the contract is in her name). I searched the number online to see if it was genuine, I've been getting calls from a few dodgy numbers lately and I came across this. I downloaded the Vodafone Protect app but I would like to add a pin for legitimate Vodafone callers to give me when calling, I don't know how to go about this though. I've searched the website and eForum but could not find anything.
Any help please?
