Hi, how does the cancellation process work?
How do i buy out the rest of my contract?
After being lied to for the last year saying i can upgrade on 01st feb 2012, it's now changed till May 11th! I was expecting a new phone next week, not 3 months later! need a new handset!

With regards to the upgrades Vodafone updated their procedures to move more inline with the other uk mobile network operators.

You can cancel your contract at any time however it will be subect to an early termination fee.
This can be worked out as follows:
(number or months remaining X monthly contract cost) -VAT@20%= Early Termination Fee.
A call to customer services on 191 will be able to give you the exact figure for your contract.
What may be a better option for you is to pay off your contract until may, this would bring you into the upgrade window, thus allowing you a new phone. Best thing to do re this is contact the @vodafoneukdeals twitter team. They specialise in upgrades and new lines! For info on how to contact them head over here and follow the instructions. They are a small and very popular team so they may not reply straight away, stick around though as one of the team will get back to you as soon as they can.
