Hi,
I want to cancel my current Vodafone contract, but start up a new one with an iphone. I currently have the Samsung Galaxy, but am having a lot of problems with it. My contract doesn't run out for another year. is there any way I can do thi without having to buy out of the contract I am currently in?

I'm afraid that there is no way to avoid the cancellation fee. Even if you are taking a new contract out. Your current contract is to pay for the Samsung handset Vodafone have given you, so if you take a new contract, that will be to pay for the new phone.

You could use buyback to sell your handset to raise some money to pay off the cancellation fee. But technically you would just be selling your handset to pay off the agreement. Also if you were doing that, then you may get a better price selling the phone on Ebay etc.
