Hi. I had a contract with vf and unfortunately I didnt managed to pay my last bills for 3 months. Today I received a letter with a quick breakdown for my contract. And I was shocked when I saw this "charge for cancellation prior to". I never asked for my contract to be terminated and I was gonna pay for it in this comming week. Now I need to pay £1,500 this march for this. Any options I can choose here? I really dont want to end this contract and I can pay my previous bills anytime next week.

I notice from one of your previous threads that the contract was in your Mum's name and the contract had been suspended due to a large bill for premium rate text messages. You were also trying to get ownership of the contract transferred into your name.
If the bill has not been paid and there has been no contact from the contract owner, Vodafone are quite within their rights to cancel the contract, ask for the full price, plus all outstanding charges to be paid.
If if account is still in your Mums name, she will need to contact collections and get the arrears paid, if this cannot be done, she will need to make arrangements for a repayment plan. The account will be in default, and your Mum could well have the default on her credit rating.

This contract is in your Mums name and she is ultimately responsible for the account and making sure the payments are up to date. Any default will be in her name.
Your Mother will have to be the one to contact Vodafone and speak to Collections regarding the arrears, there wouldnt be anything you can do, the direct debit only comes out of your account and you have not made the payments. You need to speak to your Mum about the money owing.

thanks for the reply, but it says there that it is already the termination fee and it is counted as my balance to them. my number doesnt have any signal / reception. if this can be solved by paying the balance ( not including the termination fee) I am very happy to pay it in the next few hours.

We'll have to take a look at the individual circumstances of the account and judge it from there for you. So that we're able to take a look at the outstanding balance before the early termination fee plus any possible reconnection please e-mail our team directly with the details. I've sent you a private message with the details on how to contact us.
