I to have a simular complaint, I am demanding that the Customer Services Manager calls me immeadatly in relation to the lack of customer service from your call handlers, not giving basic information requested under the Data Protection Act (DPA).

 

 

This is all caused by Vodafones professional incompetance, and lack of understanding of minor isssues that they have made worse.

 

A very disgruntled customer!!!!

Well, I have just checked my inbox and there is no message in my in box, When I  registered for the eForum, apart of the process was to include my details, so I suggest you look at that then cointact me urgently as I am getting more and more disatisfied with this mickymouse organisation who cannot get the basics right!!!

Hi, I have a similar problem.

 

I recently took my number and account over from a relative, in order to do so I was asked to do a credit check. At no point was I told I would be setting up a direct debit, if I had of known, I would of used an account that had more than £10 in it. To make things worse after receiving a letter from Vodafone saying I had set up a direct debit, I called them to try and cancel the direct debit but this could not be done, so I asked if the date be moved so I can transfer money into the account to make sure my services stay active. I was told this was done and I would not be billed earlier than discussed. It turns out this was not done and I ended up getting the direct debit taken out on the original date making me go over my overdraft! I now have a chrage from my bank, no service from Vodafon and I can't even call Vodafone to pay the bill form another account!! This is ridiculous!

I'm in a similar position, I do not have the facilities to contact you via a landline, so how would I go about paying my bill, I need the phone to be up and running, as soon as possible.

Sorted now James.

My fault, I swapped phone accounts to my new business but dd's not completed correctly.

Must say though, not had a single email/call/text from Vodafone until they stopped outbound calls then I couldn't call anyone at Vodafone from my phone to sort it. Had to wait until I got home to pay the bill immediately, not great really

Hi my phone has been restricted due to none payment, sadly i lost my job but am due to start a new one in july however my phone is essential to this and i can't get through to vodafone to discuss any kind of temperary arangement being made to lift the restriction (due to the restriction).please help!

I know its not the answer you would want to hear but the only way you are going to get that restriction lifted will be to get the bill paid and the account up to date.

 

You could try calling Collections on 191 from an alternative phone, they may be able to do something where you are able to receive calls but not make not make anything outgoing.

 

If you are unable to get to an alternative phone, you can pop into a Vodafone store and contact Collections from there.

HI I AM ABROAD AND BEFORE I LEFT I CALLED VODAPHONE TO SAY THEY MUST CARRY OVER 80POUNDS OUTSTATNDING FROM MY BILL TO MY NEXT MONTH BILL AND LADY I SPOKE TO TOLD ME THAT WOULDNT BE A PROBLEM NOW I AM LEAVING BACK TO UK I PUT MY PHONE ON AND ITS NOT WORKING PLEASE CAN YOU ADVICE HOW I CAN GET THIS SORTED BY TOMORROW AS I NEED A PHONE WHEN I ARRIVE AT AIRPORT TO WORK AND ALSO IM NOT HAPPY THAT I HAVE TRIED CALLING VOADPHONE ABOUT 20 TIMES SINCE ABROAD WHEN PHONE DIES NO ONE EVEN CALLS ME BACK, THIS IS VERY BAD SERVICE AND I SPEND ABOUT 200+ A MONTH AND SERVICE I GET ISNT REALLY WORTH IT.

Hi, can I also be sent the email, I am able to pay my outstanding balance immidatly but I don't have access to a landline and wont for some time yet.
