Customer care agent? Oh and restricted phone

Hi, my phone has been restricted due to forget to pay my phone bill (my own fault... totally) and on the day i was gonna get paid

my phone was restricted (no big deal my own fault for forgetting to pay it)

But now it is restricted i cant phone vodafone to pay the bill, because the service you provide to pay the bill, which is free off the handset, and kinda integral to you, vodafone, who i assume is in the business of making money, is now a restricted number for a customer who is trying to pay there bill. which is a little ######ed up.

It says to contact a customer care agent.... firstly where are they and how do i contact them.

There is nothing on the website to help or point in the direction of help.

There is no number that i can ring to sort this out.

So what am i suppose to do, i assume you want the payment for the bill.

But i cant give it to you unless you allow to me to call you....

Please help so i dont drive myself crazy dealing with a system which seems to have a little (ahem) flaw!

Let me firstly welcome you to the eForum family. It’s always nice to see new faces here.:smileyhappy:

 

I’m sorry to hear of your dilemma, but there other ways you can contact us to clear this situation up.

 

There is a national rate number you can ring from any landline. The number is 08700 700191, and you can use this service from 8am to 8pm, support outside these times is purely for lost and stolen devices.

 

We could also help, but I’d need your account details to do this. So I’ve sent you an email to your eForum registered address. If you complete and return this, either myself or one of my colleagues will be able to get back to you and assist in this matter.

Looks like I am stuck in this loop too. I guess it doesn't matter what I say here because I'll get a cheery reply welcoming me to the forum regardless of how angry I sound.

Please can you email me so I can resolve this. I don't have access to a landline with which to call that number.

Trev mate, I'm in uni in a really remote, derelict corner of the world, basically living large like the amish and i have no landline. My phones restricted and I've let consuming get the best of me. I need to speak to someone about how I can sort it out so I don't get over charged and can still use my phone. Please, please help me!

I had to do a Google search to find out what how to contact my customer care agent and this is the first thing I found with the same problem I have.

 

My phone is not making calls or texts. I paid my bill (at least I think I did - the last time I paid my bill was August because Vodafone took 3 payments from me, meaning I didn't have to pay anything until this month - November - which I did a couple of weeks ago).

 

So I called Vodafone from a landline on the number above, then after being transferred the phone cut off with no sign of anyone trying to call me back.

 

Now I'm stuck with a phone that won't make any calls or texts, and no idea if this will be answered any sooner than a month's time like the above post.

 

Could Vodafone please contact me by phone (?????) or email to let your customer of 10+ years know what is going on with his expensife handset.

Yes, use a landline to call the number that appears nearer the beginning of the thread.

I'm in the same situation of not being able to contact the landline number provided as do not have access to landline.

 

While regarding the issue of my bill not being paid; I had requested that a pay plan be set up for the unusually expensive Dec bill.  This has not yet been done as requested.

 

I wonder, can you please advise on how I might now arrange for the Dec bill to be paid within four separate payments from next year, as I had discussed with the customer service rep late Nov - especially now that I cannot call Vodafone due to call restriction (it would make sense that Vodafone enable Vodafone numbers to be contacted still for customers in this situation)?

I am in the same situation, however, my fault, i have just changed my direct debit details and vodafone havent let me pay my bill online and havent tried to take money out, just restricted my phone. please can i get this sorted asap and pay my bill as the website is down and not letting me and i cannot phone anyone up, i don't have another number as i am a student and need my phone, please sort this out for me asap or give me a number to ring which is not restricted.

Btw i am less than a week overdue on my bill and it is the first months bill, do you not give any time before restricting it?

I’m afraid on the first few months bills there is little leniency in non payment.

 

I’ll send you an email over to the email address that you registered with. All you need to do is hit reply and fill in all of the information it asks for. We’ll then get back to you as soon as we possibly can.

I put a cap on my minutes and it has blocked my texts I havent got a home fone and the woman on the fone said my messages wud still work and now I cant vet through to ur help team to sort it out coz I have no means of gettin throug hb to then so now im stuck with a fone I cant use if this provlem doesnt get rectified I will go to a different company that can gelp me many thanks me
