So 3 days away from first bill being due. Not only do I get harassed by phone as to why I cancelled direct debit (card lost, bank messed up and have taken so long to replace it was more convienent to withdraw all money FYI). Had confirmed with advisor it would be ok to pay in store and will pay on day it's due, she said this was ok.
Now services completely cut off, can't even call customer services from phone directly. Absolutely ridiculous. Only way I can communicate with vodafone is through online chat which is taking 20 times more time than a call would be, if I was able to call that is.

issue has been fixed, but its the fact that I was highly inconvienced to start with. Haven't had that issue with any other network in this country or overseas.
bad service, and collections weren't exactly apologetic either.
