Can anyone help clarify a query about data traveller.... The data traveller info on the vodafone website says you have to opt in & it costs £2 per day for 25 mb. If your monthly plan is 1200 mins or more its included free of charge. My plan is 900 mins & 500mb etc, I've got vodafone passport. I rang 40062 as suggested to opt in & got a recorded message saying data traveller is included free of charge for 25mb per day in my plan!! I've tried to find more info online with not much luck. Anybody got any info, it looks like I'll be calling customer service tomorrow

Morning Lestuttle
I guess you took your plan out a little while back? Some of the older plans have Data Traveller included in them as that was the offer at the time. You will continue to get this for the duration of your contract but it will change if you sign up to a new contract where it is not included.
You could check this online at any time by signing into your account and looking under the bit that says "My Plan". Alternatively you can used the Vodafone app to confirm this information.

Hi, thanks for the reply
I've only had this plan for a couple of months. I've got 900mins & the website said its included for over 1200 mins contracts. "My plan" doesn't list it but then it doesn't list passport like it used to on my old plan & I've definitely got that. Seems a bit odd that the auto message said its included. I rang customer service & the advisor has added it but she had to leave me on hold for a short time while she sorted it because "my account wouldn't let her add it at first". Makes me wonder whether I'm paying the £2 now for something that was included but I didn't want to take the risk of paying the much higher charge if I didn't opt in (can't remember how much it was but I do remember it was a lot more)
Anyway thanks for the help

Hi Guys,
When it comes to the data traveller in Europe all of our contract customers are automatically opted in for the £2 per day for 25MB of data however if it is that you are going to be using it for more than 5 days it would be worth paying £10 for the monthly bundle that gives you 25MB to use each day without any extra costs unless you go over the allowance.
