Hi im hoping you can help, im currently waiting on my 3rd replacement Desire HD, the first got sent back because the touch screen stop working, the second got sent back because the pixels on the screen started to die and turn green. I spoke Vodafone customer services serveral times about replacements and getting a different type of phone but all I get is that I need to be sent of for repair. Again this will be the second phone I have returned ( same make and model ) both with screen problems.
For the first return I got given a repair number, which I checked daily but there was nothing on the website site that you had my phone, So after a week I rang customer services to see what was happening. It turns out my original phone is at a sorting depot and the replacement was mine to keep. Which I thought was strange as I was 12mth into a 24mth contract. Now the replacement has broke with the pixels starting to go on the screen and again the touch is not working right.
I am currently waiting on the delivery of the 3rd handset but I don't have a tracking numbers as Vodafone Customer Services can't give me one as there computers are down. If the 3rd handset is not right can I get a different type of phone? I have 11mth to go on my current deal.
I would like the Galaxy Nexus as a replacement as I've lost all my Apps (paid & Free) Msgs & Numbers I couldn't back it up as the phone was stuck on the lock screen with the touch not working.
Please can you get back to me ASAP.

Right ok,
Please can you let me know what to do next? Ive got the 3rd handset via DPD. But the back of the phone is scratched and i looks like it has been used as there is no blue protector on the screen.
Again this is the 3rd phone ive had now am i entitled to a exchange? Samung Nexus ?
Please can you get back asap, as ive been on hold with customer services for 15 mins.

Please can someone help, im just in a chat with customer services and thete basically saying i need to send back my 3rd desire hd and wait on a exchange. Again ive have 3 phone now in the space of 3weeks. Surly i can change the make now?

Many thanks for your post here and I’m sorry to see you have had so many issues.
When it comes to the exchanges that are given out by the repair centre they will be return sale units that will have had a little usage but are usually fine to use.
In regards to getting a different make and model, if we were able to do this for you we would only be able to offer a handset of similar specification and value which would not be the Galaxy Nexus due to the difference in cost.

Please bear in mind that we are a very small team under a lot of demand recently and it is taking a little longer than normal to respond to our customers.
