If you are on a YPL Plan you cannot downgrade your price plan. You will have made an agreement with Vodafone to pay them a minimum amount each month for the duration of your contract.
If you look at the YPL Terms and Conditions, there is no mention of being able to lower your tariff, only being able to increase your allowance.
Vodafone have already been very generous to you by taking £5.00 off each month, which is the equivalent of reducing your price plan one step.

maybe they are being good, simple fact remains i never knew about this YPL, i dont have the contract as its been going for a long time, ive had bills in the hundreds before even one point had three lines go over a £1000, and i never cmplained, and when i ask for this and im taken a 2nd line, they cant do it, but there happy to take my money, i was told when the iphone 4 was launched in june time cant recall i could of had one from day one, they said i could lower to 30 then 25, now they say they cant!?!?! so now if i cancle my iphone order, they lost a 2yr contract, ill take one out with o2 or who ever, sell blackerburry on one of those reclyle sites or ebay, pay of contract job done, where is there business heads, even if they lower it to 25 id never use it for 6 months not even 1 txt! no logic

Hi andrewjflint,
Firstly, a very warm welcome to the eForum Family, it's always great to see new faces on here
.
As AnnS has stated, if you're on a YPL then you won't be able to decrease your price plan at all. If you're on one of our older plans then generally speaking, you'd only be able to decrease by £5. If you'd like to discuss your options with us directly then please reply to the email I've just sent you and we'll be in touch as soon as we can.
