Re: Early upgrade

Hey.

I'm wondering if it's possible for me to upgrade early. According to my account I can upgrade from August 30th but I'd kinda like to do it now. I'm interested in the Galaxy S II, can I pay off what's remaining until August and do it that way?

I wouldn't mind perhaps changing my tariff as well if I could upgrade.

Many Thanks.

Re: Early upgrade

Hi Charliedon

Welcome to the wonderful world of the eForum, it's a pleasure to have new faces around! :smileyhappy:

If you arranged an early upgrade now, any remaining months that you have on your contract at the moment would be added to your upgrade.

For example if you have 4 months left and take an 18 month upgrade, your contract would then be 22 months in total.

You could upgrade again at the end of this term, or opt for another early upgrade which again may be restricted.

I've got an email on it's way to you now, if you're still interested in upgrading your account early reply to this and we'll be in touch. :smileywink:

Jonst

We'd be happy to look at the early upgrade options for you.

You can either pay off your remaining line rental so you're eligible for a standard upgrade or upgrade early and add the remaining months onto your next contract.

I've got an email on it's way to you too. If you can reply with as much information as possible, we'll get back to you! :smileywink:

Cheers, Helen

Re: Early upgrade

I think I might actually wait until my upgrade date in August, just to see if any new hardware is released.

Much appreciation for the speedy response though :smileyhappy:

Re: Early upgrade

Good afternoon!

My partner recently upgraded her phone and now feeling left out! I too would like to upgrade but according to my account, I'm unable to until 8 Jan 2012.

I have seen on here that some people can upgrade even earlier than the 70 days. Is it possible for me to do so as well?

Re: Early upgrade

Hi wayneski101,

Thanks for your post.

We need to check your account so that we can establish when your agreement finishes. An early upgrade would in effect be an extension onto the end of this.

I’ve sent you an email. If you can reply with the information I’ve requested, then we’ll be in touch.

Best Wishes

Ian

Re: Early upgrade

Dear Sirs,

I am in a similar situation to some of the other posts. My phone is broken and are not eligible for upgrade. I have tried phone Customer services and keep being cut off, or told nothing that they can do. I am prepared to extend or renew my contract to get a new phone or find out how much it is to cancel the remainder of my term and go elsewhere. Please could you let me know if you can help.

Regards

Re: Early upgrade

Hi cplim,

There's no-one in from the upgrade specialists to call you today but don't worry. If they haven't called yet then you'll be on the list, and if you've passed them your details and you've missed a call, they'll be giving you another go - we don't just assume one call and that's it!

If you haven't been called back in the next couple of days, just drop us a line and we'll get that chased up for you.

Dave

Re: Early upgrade

Hello,

I am currently looking for an early upgrade on my phone but do not want to pay off the whole contract immediately, I am on a 24 month contract for £15 a month and have around 10 months remaining. My handset is incredibly slow, crashes all the time, battery life is about 5 hours when under high usage. I have tried software updates and phone resets yet it is still having problems and I don't want to use it anymore. I read earlier that you can end a contract early and add the time onto the next contract?

If you could help with this I would be very grateful

Thanks

Hi paddy3004

A big warm welcome from the eForum!

An email is on the way to you now, if you can reply to this we'll be in touch as soon as possible to discuss the options with you. :smileyhappy:

We'll try to give you a call today, if there's a particular time that's best for you please reply to the email that I sent you on Saturday and let me know. :smileywink:

We can certainly look at the early upgrade options for your account.

If you've got 10 months left on your contract we're limited to how long we can extend your contract by so there may be cost involved depending on which phone you wanted to go for.

I've got an email on the way to you too, if you can reply to this we'll be in touch.

I look forward to speaking to you all soon,

Cheers, Helen
